The Hobbs Eagles basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Clovis Wildcats to 38 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clovis for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14.
