Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), 39-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Cougars host Enterprise (Redding, CA) to play the Hornets in a bout on Friday, January 6. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Lassen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 55-30 league win over Chico (Chico, CA).
