The Monticello Mustangs basketball team (Charlottesville, VA), was overwhelmed 62-29 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA)

The Fighting Hornets now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisa County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Orange County will confront a Lions team coming off a 43-22 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.

The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record.
