North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Onslow can't hold off North Lenoir

The North Lenoir Hawks basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Southwest Onslow Stallions to 46 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wallace-Rose Hill for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. North Lenoir will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-20 non-league loss to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
The Stallions (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Vikings enter the contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Kinston was nudged by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 38-11, in a non-league contest.
