Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA), 7-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights face the Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) in a Del Rey challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Bishop Montgomery will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Jesters enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Downey (Downey, CA).

The Spirits now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host La Salle for a Del Rey challenge on Wednesday, January 4. Paraclete will face a Lancers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-2.
