Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), 47-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pisgah upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Bears host Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Tuscola lost 62-33 in their recent non-league bout against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Brevard will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 74-38 non-league win over Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC).
