The Canyon Cowboys basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Castaic Coyotes to 53 in the Cowboys league victory on Tuesday.
The Cowboys now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hart for a contest on Friday, January 6. Canyon will battle a Indians team coming off a 61-57 league loss to West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Indians record now stands at 5-5.
The Coyotes (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Centurions come into the contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Saugus prevailed over Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA), 62-40, in a non-league contest.
