North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County overwhelms Manteo

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) and the visiting Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), saw Currituck County's basketball squad wallop Manteo by a tally of 63-36.

With the victory, Currituck County improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to confront the Aces in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Aces come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Redskins confront the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Manteo will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 67-55 non-league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC).
