The Tunstall Trojans basketball team (Dry Fork, VA), was toppled 53-44 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA)
The Eagles now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halifax County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. George Washington will confront a Comets team coming off a 38-24 non-league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Comets record now stands at 3-4.
The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Patrick County was toppled by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 49-39, in a non-league battle.
