South Carolina High School Basketball - Wren nips J.L. Mann

January 3, 2023: Greenville, SC 29607

Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC), 52-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wren upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Hurricanes host Seneca (Seneca, SC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Seneca won 33-26 in their recent non-league bout against Easley (Easley, SC)

Next up, the Patriots play the Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. J.L. Mann will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 56-37 non-league win over Union County (Union, SC).
