The North Buncombe Black Hawks basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting McDowell Titans to 32 in the Black Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Black Hawks now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mitchell for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. North Buncombe will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 51-50 non-league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 7-1.

The Titans (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Asheville was defeated by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 50-40, in a non-league contest.
