In Tuesday's non-league outing, the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC), by a margin of 59-45.
The Greyhounds (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Blackhawks go into the non-league outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, West Wilkes was topped by Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 46-37, in a non-league outing.
The Granite Bears now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Thomasville for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 4. Mount Airy will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-45 non-league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
