Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC), 35-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Starmount upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Wilkes Central lost 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. North Wilkes will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 49-45 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC).
