Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 52-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Providence Grove upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Patriots host Randleman (Randleman, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Randleman won 68-36 in their recent non-league bout against Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC)

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 10. Trinity will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 53-40 non-league win over Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC).
