With the victory, River Bluff improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Gators host Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC) to play the Diamond Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Diamond Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Lower Richland won 57-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC)

Next up, the Fighting Green Hornets play the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Aiken will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 67-60 non-league loss to Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC).
