The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) basketball nipped the host Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA), 63-62 in Wednesday's league test.
The Dragons (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders go into the West Alameda County - Foothill test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Piedmont got by Novato (Novato, CA), 65-46, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Castro Valley for a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Friday, January 5. Alameda will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 73-64 league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-6.
