In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Duchesne Eagles (Duchesne, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT), by a count of 72-21.

The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against North Summit (Coalville, UT). The Braves go into the 2A Region 15 outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, North Summit smashed Waterford (Sandy, UT), 56-45, in a non-league outing.

The Longhorns now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pinnacle for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. Altamont will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 81-77 league loss to Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 6-5.
