Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hopewell knocked off by Ambridge

The Ambridge Bridgers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Hopewell Vikings to 45 in the Bridgers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bridgers now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blackhawk for a WPIAL 4A 2 contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Vikings (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Trojans enter the WPIAL 4A 2 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, North Catholic was defeated by Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD), 84-74, in a non-league contest.
