Louisiana High School Basketball - West St. Mary knocked off by Ascension Episcopal

The Ascension Episcopal basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting West St. Mary Wolfpack to 38 in the league triumph on Wednesday.
The now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loreauville for a 2A District 8 contest on Friday, January 5. Ascension Episcopal will battle a Tigers team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.
The Wolfpack (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA). The Panthers enter the 2A District 8 contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Catholic - N.I. ran past Delcambre (Delcambre, LA), 70-23, in a league contest.
