In Wednesday's league outing, the Newfane Panthers (Newfane, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Barker Bulldogs (Barker, NY), by a margin of 74-45.

The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Wilson (Wilson, NY). The Lakemen go into the Section 6 Niagara - Orleans outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Wilson smashed Royalton-Hartland (Middleport, NY), 64-53, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Medina for a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans outing on Tuesday, January 16.
