The Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) basketball nipped the host Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT), 66-64 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Hilltoppers (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Falcons go into the Fairfield County test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Ludlowe was tipped by Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 68-41, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fitch for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6.
