The Bay Tigers basketball team (Bay St. Louis, MS), was overwhelmed 57-34 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS)
The Pirates now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poplarville for a 4A Region 8 battle on Friday, January 5. Pass Christian will confront a Hornets team coming off a 56-17 league loss to Moss Point (Moss Point, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 0-17.
The Tigers (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Wildcats come into the 4A Region 8 battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Greene County trounced Long Beach (Long Beach, MS), 65-45, in a non-league battle.
