The Bellaire Eagles basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Pellston Hornets to 43 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Area for a Ski-Valley contest on Friday, January 5. Bellaire will meet a Warriors team coming off a 67-40 non-league win over Venango Catholic (Oil City, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.

The Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Ironmen enter the Ski-Valley contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Mancelona triumphed over Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI), 61-56, in a league contest.
