Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA), 66-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Bellflower upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Buccaneers host Norwalk (Norwalk, CA) to play the Lancers in a San Gabriel Valley bout on Friday, January 5. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Norwalk lost 62-34 in their recent league bout against Gahr (Cerritos, CA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Warren Bears (Downey, CA) in a San Gabriel Valley bout, on Friday, January 5. Paramount will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 63-57 league win over Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA).
