In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Blue Mountain Bucks basketball team scored a decisive 77-21 triumph over the Sharon Academy Phoenix.
In their next game, the Bucks face the Twinfield Trojans (Plainfield, VT) in a Southern Vermont - D battle, on Friday, January 5. Blue Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 61-44 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, VT).
The Phoenix (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT). The Eagles come into the Southern Vermont - D battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Arlington Memorial trounced Long Trail (Dorset, VT), 51-50, in a league battle.
