The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chino Valley for a 3A North Central battle on Friday, January 5. Bourgade Catholic will battle a Cougars team coming off a 66-44 league loss to Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.

The Wranglers (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles come into the 3A North Central battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Scottsdale Christian Academy dropped by Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ), 64-54, in a non-league battle.
