Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), 74-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Kettle Run upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Cougars host Meridian (Falls Church, VA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Northwestern bout on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Meridian won 92-22 in their recent league bout against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) in a Northwestern bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Brentsville District will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 63-43 league win over James Wood (Winchester, VA).
