The now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Hope Christian Academy for a Freelance battle on Friday, January 5. Guilford Day will battle a Phoenix team coming off a 65-38 non-league win over Stanleytown Baptist Academy (Stanleytown, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 8-6.

The Warriors (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against High Point Home Educators (High Point, NC). The Eagles come into the Freelance battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, High Point Home Educators trounced Westridge Academy (Kernersville, NC), 58-54, in a league battle.
