Utah High School Basketball - Canyon View nipped by Manti

The Manti Templars tipped the visiting Canyon View Falcons basketball team by a final score of 69-66 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Templars face the Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT) in a 3A Region 12 game, on Friday, January 5. Manti will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 10-2 record after their 57-53 league loss to Richfield (Richfield, UT).

With the defeat, Canyon View moves to 7-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to Juab (Nephi, UT) to face the Wasps in a 3A Region 12 game on Friday, January 5. The Wasps enter the game with a record of 8-3. Juab lost 63-58 in their recent league game against North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT)
