Central Lake Trojans (Central Lake, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Forest Area Warriors (Fife Lake, MI), 76-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Central Lake upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a Ski-Valley bout on Friday, January 5. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Johannesburg-Lewiston lost 48-33 in their recent non-league bout against Posen (Posen, MI)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Venango Catholic Vikings (Oil City, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Forest Area will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 70-28 league loss to North Clarion (Tionesta, PA).
