The Clover Garden School Grizzlies basketball team (Burlington, NC), was overwhelmed 68-46 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC)

The Firebirds now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varsity Opponent for a non-league battle on Monday, January 8.

The Grizzlies (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Lions come into the 1A Central Tar Heel battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Southern Wake Academy trounced Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC), 73-54, in a non-league battle.
