Georgia High School Basketball - Discovery can't hold off Parkview

The Parkview Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Discovery Titans to 48 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archer for a AAAAAAA Region 4 contest on Friday, January 5. Parkview will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-49 non-league win over Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-1.

The Titans (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Norcross (Norcross, GA). The Blue Devils come into the AAAAAAA Region 7 contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Norcross was nudged by St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
