In Wednesday's league outing, the Durham Trojans (Durham, CA) basketball squad felled the host East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA), by a margin of 44-30.

The Trojans (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Willows (Willows, CA). The Honkers go into the Sacramento Valley outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Willows was beaten by Pierce (Arbuckle, CA), 58-36, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Colusa for a Sacramento Valley outing on Friday, January 5. East Nicolaus will clash with a RedHawks squad coming off a 58-48 non-league win over Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The RedHawks record now stands at 8-5.
