The Somerset Tech Jaguars basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting East Brunswick Vo-Tech to 53 in the Jaguars league triumph on Wednesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piscataway Vo-Tech for a Greater Middlesex - Gold contest on Friday, January 5. Somerset Tech will meet a Raiders team coming off a 48-36 league loss to Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 1-8.

The (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Christian (Old Bridge, NJ). The Lions enter the Greater Middlesex - Gold contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Calvary Christian nudged South Amboy (South Amboy, NJ), 68-49, in a league contest.
