West Virginia High School Basketball - Union overwhelmed by East Hardy

The Union Tigers basketball team (Mount Storm, WV), was routed 60-37 in Wednesday's league battle with the host East Hardy Cougars (Baker, WV)

The Cougars now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tucker County for a Potomac Valley A battle on Friday, January 5. East Hardy will battle a Mountain Lions team coming off a 59-47 league win over Moorefield (Moorefield, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 5-2.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Tygarts Valley was routed by Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV), 58-48, in a non-league battle.
