The Millville Thunderbolts (Millville, NJ) basketball nipped the host Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), 45-44 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Thunderbolts (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ). The Colts go into the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Cumberland was tipped by Deptford (Deptford, NJ), 67-39, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ocean City for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Egg Harbor Township will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 6-2.
