The Myrtle Beach Seahawks basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs to 49 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Seahawks now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Florence for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, January 5. Myrtle Beach will battle a Knights team coming off a 47-42 non-league win over Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC). The Knights record now stands at 4-8.
The Bulldogs (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kingstree (Kingstree, SC). The Blazers enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Kingstree was routed by Crestwood (Sumter, SC), 73-58, in a non-league contest.
