Virginia High School Basketball - Holston overwhelmed by Grundy

The Grundy Golden Wave basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Holston Cavaliers to 34 in the Golden Wave non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Golden Wave now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Valley for a Black Diamond contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Cavaliers (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Rebels come into the Hogoheegee contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry was routed by Marion (Marion, VA), 68-62, in a non-league contest.
