Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) and the visiting James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA), saw Handley's basketball squad wallop James Wood by a margin of 72-45.

The Judges (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Radford walloped Patrick County (Stuart, VA), 55-23, in a league test.

The Colonels now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Sherando for a Northwestern test on Friday, January 5. James Wood will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 50-46 non-league win over Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-5.
