The High Point Home Educators Eagles (High Point, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Westridge Academy Lions (Kernersville, NC), 58-54 in Wednesday's league test.

The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Brittain Academy (Thomasville, NC). The Warriors go into the Freelance test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Brittain Academy was tipped by Guilford Day (Guilford, NC), 65-41, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Thomasville Prep for a test on Friday, January 5. Westridge Academy will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 73-48 non-league win over Forest Trail Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 15-3.
