The Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA) basketball crushed the host Hoosac Valley Hurricanes (Cheshire, MA), 83-49 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Belchertown (Belchertown, MA). The Orioles go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Belchertown was trounced by South Hadley (South Hadley, MA), 73-66, in a non-league test.
The Hurricanes now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pioneer Valley Regional for a non-league test on Thursday, January 11.
