The Iona Prep Gaels basketball team (New Rochelle, NY), was nudged 60-59 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting St. Raymond Boys Ravens (Bronx, NY)

The Ravens now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host De La Salle for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. St. Raymond Boys will battle a Meteors team coming off a 66-62 non-league win over Florida State University High School (Tallahassee, FL). The Meteors record now stands at 10-5.

The Gaels (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY). The Crusaders come into the Catholic AA - New York battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Stepinac was nudged by St. Rose (Belmar, NJ), 65-55, in a non-league battle.
