In Wednesday's league outing, the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), by a margin of 86-29.

The Indians (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Braves go into the Heartland I outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Shikellamy was trounced by Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA), 72-45, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Selinsgrove for a Heartland I outing on Saturday, January 6. Jersey Shore will clash with a Seals squad coming off a 70-26 league win over Milton (Milton, PA). The Seals record now stands at 6-2.
