The Kane Wolves basketball squad scored 61 points and restricted the host Sheffield Wolverines to 43 in the Wolves league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Kane upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Ridgway (Ridgway, PA) to play the Elker in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Elker come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Ridgway lost 28-26 in their recent non-league bout against Cameron County (Emporium, PA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Elk County Catholic Crusaders (St. Marys, PA) in a District 9 bout, on Monday, January 8. Sheffield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 55-38 league win over DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA).
