In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Kearsarge Cougars basketball team scored a good 47-31 triumph over the Monadnock Huskies.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) in a Division III match, on Friday, January 5. Kearsarge will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
With the defeat, Monadnock moves to 1-5 on the year. The Huskies travel to Newport (Newport, NH) to meet the Tigers in a Division III match on Friday, January 5. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-3. Newport lost 53-49 in their recent league match against Stevens (Claremont, NH)
