Alabama High School Basketball - Tallassee overwhelmed by LaFayette

The LaFayette Bulldogs basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Tallassee Tigers to 47 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lanett for a 2A Area 6 contest on Friday, January 5. LaFayette will battle a Panthers team coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Pike Road (Pike Road, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-8.

The Tigers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Marbury (Marbury, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Marbury was routed by Pelham (Pelham, AL), 63-50, in a non-league contest.
