The Lanier Longhorns basketball team (Sugar Hill, GA), was nudged 73-67 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting North Forsyth Raiders (Cumming, GA)
The Raiders now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson County for a AAAAAA Region 8 battle on Friday, January 5. North Forsyth will confront a Panthers team coming off a 60-54 league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
The Longhorns (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Panthers come into the AAAAAA Region 8 battle with a 6-7 record.
