California High School Basketball - St. Genevieve ripped by Mary Star of the Sea

The Mary Star of the Sea Stars basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting St. Genevieve Valiants to 60 in the Stars league triumph on Wednesday.
The Stars now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Verbum Dei Jesuit for a Santa Fe contest on Friday, January 5. Mary Star of the Sea will battle a Eagles team coming off a 79-65 league loss to Bosco Tech (Rosemead, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
The Valiants (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle (Pasadena, CA). The Lancers enter the Santa Fe contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, La Salle triumphed over Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA), 65-61, in a league contest.
