In Wednesday's league outing, the St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR), by a count of 76-59.

The Crusaders (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rogue River (Rogue River, OR). The Chieftains go into the 3A Far West outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Rogue River was topped by Lakeview (Lakeview, OR), 59-32, in a league outing.

The Knights now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Cascade Christian for a 3A Far West outing on Friday, January 5. North Valley will clash with a Challengers squad coming off a 91-31 league win over Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR). The Challengers record now stands at 5-5.
