The Old Saybrook Rams basketball team (Old Saybrook, CT), was overwhelmed 74-46 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT)
The Wildcats now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coginchaug Regional for a Shoreline battle on Friday, January 5. Old Lyme will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 48-46 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-1.
The Rams (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Portland (Portland, CT). The Highlanders come into the Shoreline battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Portland trounced Westbrook (Westbrook, CT), 73-35, in a league battle.
